Kendriya Vidyalaya Shalimar Bagh, Delhi was founded in
1982.One among the prestigious schools is affiliated to
CBSE and
is run under the administration of
Kendriya Vidyalaya
Sanghathan, a premier organization and an
autonomous body under the aegis of Ministry of Human
Resources and Development to mainly facilitate education
of transferable government employees. The school
embodies features integrating Indian and human values
for global understanding. Since its inception in 1982
with classes I-VIII, the school has grown to three
sections school having four sections in classes XI and
XII each.
The school provides an inspiring, creative and healthy
learning environment for the students. Our focus is on
total development of the personality: intellectual,
physical, spiritual, creative and social. The school
believes in excellence but also in individuality. Its
aim is to develop the wisdom in each child to live a
happy life as a future global citizen.
